Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary loves Templeton Thompson's "Girls and Horses" CD
Templeton Thompson
Templeton Thompson is a Singer/songwriter, horsewoman, dreamer. Templeton Thompson draws from a deep well of influences that combine with her Texas roots to give her style of country music a distinctive, soulful edge.
You can find her songs on million-selling CD's from country superstars like Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina and Little Texas. Her song, “Settle Down Cinderella” is featured in the 2006 20th Century Fox Motion Picture, “Dr. Doolittle 3.”
She's one of Nashville's sought after session vocalists having sung countless demos as well as background vocals for major label artists like Reba McEntire. She has performed on stage for audiences across the US, in Europe and in Japan.
Additionally, she's been named worldwide ambassador for EAGALA (the Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association).

Templeton's 3rd CD "Girls and Horses" is a collection of songs inspired by her love of horses.

Mase Lucas Paintings- Mase Lucas
Mase Lucas: "I hope to convey the beauty and power of horses without slipping into sentimentality or engaging in overstatement." Her art brings that hope into reality.

Bear Step - Gayle Hunt
In contemporary horse circles, many regard with some indifference the Appaloosa as merely a color breed, the bearer of wild and defiant, tenacious and untamable spots. Some of us feel the color more than see it. We are taken back to the mountains and meadows of our Northwest, and drawn to a people whose heart sculpted the enduring spirit of the Appaloosa.

Dawn Trinkler - No Brushes
Dawn realized her talent and love at the age of nine.  She pursued the arts while attending Shawnee Mission High School.  After receiving a National Nomination from New York in High School, Dawn attended KU as an Illustration major.  However, she finished her BFA in painting with minors in photography and illustration.
During Dawn's final years at KU she developed carpal tunnel and was unable to use a brush to apply paint to canvas. During that time she was required to complete her portfolio for finals. She brought in every mark-making object she could find, stretched a 4'x5' canvas, and proceeded to search for a new way to paint.  Out of this experience the No Brushes technique came to be.

Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary loves Mary Ann Kennedy
Mary Ann Kennedy
"I have 2 passions in my life.  The love of horses and animals, and the love of music.  "The Trail Less Traveled", "Hoofbeats, Heartbeats & Wings" and the newly released "The Rhythm of the Ride" embraces them both. ~ Mary Ann Kennedy

Grammy nominated hit songwriter from Nashville, TN., Mary Ann Kennedy, creates music that celebrates the horse. A dedicated Parelli Natural Horsemanship student herself, Mary Ann seems to express what we all feel in our hearts for our beloved horses and the life we all live with them. Through melody, rhythm and humor in song, this is music that we horse lovers can listen and ride to. Along with her two former cds, "The Trail Less Traveled" & "Hoofbeats, Heartbeats & Wings", "The Rhythm of the Ride" is  indeed OUR music. Music from the heart about horses and the animals we love.
